POLICE PARADE THREE SUSPECTS OVER ATTACK ON MAGU's FARM

The Nigeria Police Force (NPF), on Monday paraded three suspects arrested over an attack at the farm house of acting EFCC chairman, Ibrahim Magu.



The attack on Magu’s farm house in Karshi area of Abuja on December 12th 2017, led to the death of a police sergeant on guard duty at the resident.

The deputy force spokesman, SP Aremu Adeniran who paraded the suspects at the Force Headquarters in Abuja, said they were arrested at several locations after discreet investigation by the IGP Intelligence Response Team.

He said the three suspects paraded; Inalegwu Omikpa, Francis Ochife and dismissed Nigeria Air Force (NAF) personnel lance corporal Vincent Michael were assisted by two other personnel of the Nigeria Air Force said to be under-going disciplinary action.

Adeniran said two AK47 police rifles were recovered from the suspects, which they carted away from the slain police sergeant and one other police personnel on duty.

He said two mobile phones, two magazines and 60 rounds of ammunitions were recovered from the arrested suspects.

He added that investigation is ongoing to arrest other members of the gang still at large, noting that all suspects would be arraigned in court soon.
